1. About FindCarers

FindCarers is a digital marketplace and directory platform operated by Brandso Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. The platform connects individuals and families seeking care services ("Care Seekers") with verified care professionals and agencies ("Care Providers") across the United Kingdom.

FindCarers acts as an intermediary platform only. We are not a care agency, employer of carers, or direct provider of care services. All care arrangements are made directly between Care Seekers and Care Providers.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FindCarers website, mobile application, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including Care Seekers, Care Providers, and visitors who browse without registering an account.

3. User Accounts & Registration

To access certain features of the platform, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

FindCarers reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or violate these terms. You may have only one account unless expressly permitted otherwise.

4. Care Seeker Terms

As a Care Seeker, you acknowledge and agree that:

• FindCarers provides a search and connection platform — we do not employ or manage the carers listed
• You are responsible for verifying a carer's suitability for your specific care needs beyond what is shown on the platform
• Any care arrangement, including payment terms and scheduling, is made directly between you and the Care Provider
• FindCarers does not guarantee the availability, quality, or fitness for purpose of any care provider listed
• You must treat all care providers with respect and not use the platform to harass, discriminate against, or harm any individual
• Reviews and ratings you leave must be honest, accurate, and based on genuine experiences

5. Care Provider Terms

As a Care Provider (including individuals, agencies, childminders, and recruitment agencies), you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information on your profile and listing
• Hold and maintain all required licences, qualifications, DBS checks, and insurance relevant to the care services you provide
• Notify FindCarers promptly if your DBS status, insurance, or professional registrations change or expire
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or the services you offer
• Treat all Care Seekers with dignity, respect, and professionalism
• Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations relating to the provision of care services
• Not use the platform to solicit clients outside of it in order to avoid platform fees, where applicable

FindCarers reserves the right to remove, suspend, or delist any provider profile that violates these requirements without notice or refund.

6. Subscription Plans & Payments

6.1 Plans

FindCarers offers both free and paid subscription plans for Care Providers. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. Plan details, features, and pricing are described on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

6.2 Payment

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorise FindCarers (Brandso Ltd) to charge the subscription fee on a recurring basis until cancelled. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

6.3 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans from the date of initial purchase. To request a refund, contact billing@find-carers.co.uk within 14 days.

6.4 Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

7. Listing Rules & Standards

All listings on FindCarers must comply with the following standards:

• All information must be accurate and not misleading
• Photos must be genuine images of the provider or service — no stock photography representing care scenarios you did not produce
• Listings must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
• Providers may not list services they are not qualified or licensed to provide
• Listings that impersonate another person or organisation are strictly prohibited
• Photo limits are enforced according to your subscription plan (see Section 6)

FindCarers reserves the right to remove any listing that does not meet these standards without prior notice.

8. Platform Conduct

All users of FindCarers agree not to:

• Post false, inaccurate, or fraudulent content
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to access platform data
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Post spam, unsolicited messages, or advertising through the messaging system
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security features

Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement authorities.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the FindCarers platform — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and code — is the property of Brandso Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

By uploading content to FindCarers (such as profile photos, descriptions, or reviews), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and use that content on our platform. You retain ownership of your content.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any FindCarers content without our express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindCarers (Brandso Ltd) shall not be liable for:

• Any loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to use the platform
• Any inaccuracies in listing information provided by care providers
• The conduct, quality, or outcomes of care services arranged through the platform
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the subscription fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of FindCarers is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. By using the platform, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the use of the platform at any time. FindCarers may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. We will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy following termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of FindCarers after changes have taken effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
